  • Program Description
    The program provides an understanding of and practice in RFPs and grant proposal writing for non-profits and foundations. The program is designed for both novice and experienced grant-seekers, it is a comprehensive, hands-on training that covers researching funding sources and writing award winning proposals. Further, the program will teach you how to use a standard proposal writing format, the most widely used in the world. Participants will leave this program with new skills and the ability to apply those skills to the needs of their own organization and community.
  • Target Audience
    This program is aimed at staff of non-profit organizations, development workers, government officials, researchers, consultants and knowledge workers in universities, institutes, government agencies, and corporate organizations, UN agency staff and policy planners who want to learn how to write effective RFPs and grant proposals.
  • Program Content
    Participants will be able to write effective RFPs and grant proposals that stand a strong chance of receiving a positive response from funders. Participants will also be introduced to specialized agencies concerned with bridging the gap between funder’s and grantees.
  • Timeline
    The virtual work experience program involves 250-300 hours of work, and interns are engaged with company projects to work remotely for 10-12 hours per week.
  • System Requirements
    A laptop or computer with a web camera, headphones with a microphone, and WiFi with a good connection. Our primary collaboration tool is Microsoft Teams. As the interaction progresses, other tools such as Zoom and Google Meet could be deployed by Host Companies as a redirect link in Microsoft Teams platform.

    International development is a popular career destination for many young people. Graduates can be found working in this field in a variety of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), international organisations, consultancies, think tanks and academic institutions.
